Adam Bender is eight years old and loves to play baseball -- not unusual for boys his age. What is remarkable is the fact that he plays with just one leg. When he was a year old Adam lost his left leg to cancer, but his parents were determined not to let this stop him from living a regular life. "I was a little hesitant when we first brought him up here for baseball," admits his mother, "I thought his spirit might be crushed if he got out every time. Then I thought, who am I to micromanage his feelings? He's going to have to learn how to deal with this stuff. Adam has done more than just "deal" with his condition. He is amazing to watch.
